About Josh

Josh Vince is a Theatre and Film actor, who completed his training at Falmouth University in July 2017.

Throughout his Performance career, Josh has been primarily cast in comedic roles; as is reflected in his castings as Lord Percy in "Blackadder II", and Mr Grey in "Life Insurance". However, his repertoire does include more serious theatrical and film roles such as George in "Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?" and the Psycho in the student film "Delphinion".

His abilities are varied, with his acting style mostly suggested to be strongest in areas  of character work over long projects - such as George in Virginia Woolf. His most recent projects included being a member of the well received "Shoot / Get Treasure / Repeat" in his final 3rd year performance and his directing of a segment of "The Tempest" for the Falmouth Fledge Festival.

He is excited to gain more experience in Classical Theatre too.

Furthermore, Josh also has experience in Directing both Theatre and Film. His main influence comes from Katie Mitchell's style of live recording embedded in performance. He has experimented with similar techniques during his studies, for example in his interpretation of the play Road by Jim Cartwright.
